A brief history of 121 Computer TLC

John Ayres-Smith owns the company and he personally undertakes most of the client appointments whether for tuition or technical work. John, originally, was training mainly teachers (in Information Technology) for many years in Bedfordhire and when he started a computer training business in Lincolnshire in 2004 it was known at first as: 121 Computer Training. The technical side of the business came about simply as a result of planned computer lessons turning into technical sessions because very often the home PCs that were being used were found to have viruses or other technical problems!

Personal: John has had a diverse career but has been involved with computing for half his life so he has very wide experience involving both tuition and technical work. His earlier career was in tourism and he was (and still is) a qualified BLUE BADGE London Tourist Board guide and in the 70s & 80s you would have found him escorting 50 tourists around places like The Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Cambridge, Canterbury, Stonehenge, Bath, Oxford and so on. He changed career as a result of his interest in computing and a falling off of tourism generally. John is married to Jane (a teacher) and has three grown-up children and the family passion is "all things equestrian" and you will often see Jane & John riding their horses out and about in Huttoft and sometimes on the beautiful beaches nearby.

Corporate: 121 Computer TLC (Tender Loving Care) is here to stay and to serve the people of Lincolnshire and especially the Lincolnshire Coastal & Wolds areas (our new base being at Huttoft near Alford). John Ayres-Smith & "121" have previously served the South Lincolnshire community faithfully for many years and his reputation for good service, honesty and integrity is well known by over 300 earlier clients. The majority of his custom comes about by personal recommendation.
